Technology Coordinator

The role is based out of Clarkston, Georgia.

The purpose of the Technology Coordinator is to support all departments of GFM through full tech stack development and administration. This ministry role is part-time (20 hours per week) and may be support-based. The Technology Coordinator has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis.


Required Qualifications

  • Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values. and statement of faith
  • Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17; Col 3:16-17)
  • Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others (Eph 4:15)
  • Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking (Heb 10:24-25)
  • Must function well both independently and in a team environment (1 Cor 12:25-26)
  • Must be able use or learn internal communications and technology systems (Email, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Must have knowledge of the technical aspects of SaaS economy, Google Workspace, online databases, AI with corresponding security and ethical implications, and/or is capable as well as willing to learn and grow in these professional skills
  • Must demonstrate clear communication skills in order to troubleshoot technical issues, implement programs that serve GFM teams/personnel/projects, and train team members in use of technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee GFM tech stack and keep systems up-to-date
  • Ensure the software/programs used by GFM are integrated with each other where needed and are efficient in accordance with their purposes.
  • Be aware of GFM branding guidelines and make sure that all products are in compliance.
  • Serve GFM teams/personnel in order to develop and integrate both current and new technology to enhance GFM initiatives and projects.
  • Train current and new personnel in the use of common applications that are shared with GFM teams as well as other technology to which individuals need to have access.
  • Troubleshoot technology issues that arise within GFM programs.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation on technology, inventory, systems, and processes.

Recommended

  • A College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Information Systems is preferred but not required; informal training in IT, management, organization, leadership, and/or ministry also acceptable
